Moor

Two teams, 106 cards, one race to 620.

Moor is a partnership card game played two-against-two with a double deck: build runs and sets with your partner, fish melds out of the shared ground, and race the other team to 620 points. Its namesake moment: empty your hand and you unseal the Moor, a fresh 14-card hand, cord-wrapped and waiting. It plays fully offline against bots, and online in private rooms with the chairs you don't fill played by bots.

What it does

A real partnership game

You and your partner build one shared table position: extend each other's melds, read each other's discards, and decide together when going out helps the team, and when it ends the round too soon.

The Moor moment

Cross 100 points and your team's sealed Moor unlocks. Go out and you claim it: the seal shatters, fourteen fresh cards fan into your hand, and the round keeps going. Timing that moment is the heart of the game.

Bots worth beating

Three difficulties that genuinely play differently. Every bot sees exactly what a player in its seat would see: the expert counts public cards; nobody peeks. Fair by construction.

Online with one to four humans

Create a room, share the six-letter code, and friends take chairs from the bots, before the game or mid-match. Voice chat runs from the lobby through the whole match. Lose connection and a bot covers your seat in seconds; come back and reclaim your exact hand.

Made for the majlis

A "Damascene Evening" table: girih-patterned felt, brass and inlay, cards with hand-drawn courts, sound and haptics tuned to the pace of play. The whole game speaks Arabic as fluently as English, right-to-left and all.

Fully offline solo

Airplane mode is a supported way to play. A complete match against three bots needs no account, no connection, and no waiting.

How it works

How a turn plays

  1. 1

    Draw or take

Draw from the pile, or take from the shared ground: as deep as you dare, the whole suffix comes with it.

  2. 2

    Meld runs and sets

Lay runs and sets for your team; 2s and Jokers stand in as wilds. Long runs score bonuses.

  3. 3

    Unlock at 100

At 100 team points, your sealed Moor becomes claimable; the table shows it the moment it happens.

  4. 4

    Go out, claim the Moor

Empty your hand to take the Moor and play on with fourteen fresh cards. Or, with no Moor to claim, end the round and bank the score.
